Exploring the possibility of becoming a team captain? The Team Captain Interest Survey will allow you to gauge your interest in the role. The questions will get you thinking about what you can bring to the team. After completing the brief survey, you will be able to print off the results for follow up meetings with coaches or an athletic director. Instructions: Choosing a team captain is an important decision. Whoever is elected/selected as a team captain will be asked to make a strong commitment. This survey is designed to help you determine your interest level. The answers to the following questions will help you and your coaching staff, determine who should be considered for the role of team captain. As with any survey, it's vital to be 100% honest. There are no perfect leaders. By answering the questions accurately, you will show yourself, the coaching staff, and the team how interested you are in pursuing the opportunity to become a team captain. Remember, there are team leaders who are not team captains. If you are not elected/selected as a team captain, your team will still need your leadership.
